If Jonah is 19 years old in 1977 when the series takes place, and his Grandmother had his mother as soon as she was liberated from the death camp in 1945, because the Grandfather disappears on Nov 4th that year. then Jonah's mother would have been 13 years old when she gave birth to him. Even if Jonah's grandmother was pregnant during the last few months of her internment, her daughter, if she had lived would have been only 32 years old in 1977. Hardly old enough to have a 19 year old child.
