In the film's final scene, Thomas has made it to the mountaintop, and although it's supposed to be extremely cold, and even though he's bundled up to the hilt, there's not the slightest hint of vapor emanating from his mouth or nose when he breathes. However, this is because you need air humidity to be able to see your breath, and the Himalayas are so cold that there is no moisture in the air. Both in the movie and real life, you do not have visible breath on top of the Himalayas.
