When Elizabeth sees both twins for the first time together in the hotel, Chessy comes out of the room Annie was in, suggests that they continue their conversation in private, and ushers all three of them into the room Hallie was in. She never shuts the door to Annie's room behind herself, leaving the room open to anyone else in the hotel.
