The presumably Panamanian (or other foreign) "Aerea Pan Latina" DC-2 aircraft shows N39165 as the registration number on its body. This is an error as Panamanian aircraft of that era had the prefix HP followed by three numbers; e.g., HP001-HP999. All N-prefix registration numbers are only for U.S. aircraft.
