The earthquake in Downtown Los Angeles is powerful enough to prevent people from staying on their feet, causing structural failure, roof and floor collapse. However several bottles of liquor appear to remain unaffected on their glass shelves above the bar, as does most of the stainless cookware in the kitchen.
