(At around 14 min) In the Submarine, a crew member calls out "Admiral on Deck." The Commanding Officer is clearly a Commander, not an Admiral, as shown by the silver oak leaves on his collar. Even if he would have been an Admiral, (however the CO on a US Submarine is never an Admiral) on say, an Aircraft Carrier, he still would have been referred to as the "Captain."
