At the beginning of the movie when Ben is at the Ticket Counter the Agent tells him all flights are canceled due to weather. But when he and Alex are heading over to the charter airlines you see a Commercial airliner taxing. If Commercial flights would have been canceled, they would not take Private aircraft up.
