When Karen encounters Eddie in Doc's office, he tells her "I want to give you a piece of my mind", as a dry joke before tearing out from his head a bullet shot into him during Karen's first encounter with him. One has to wonder why he waited until that moment to tear out the bullet, instead of having Doc remove it immediately after he returned to the Colony.
