After Red Harvest rides into town to announce Bogue and his men will attack at dawn, Preacher rings the church bell in the background with a hammer. The bell can be seen to be significantly above the heads of the three men in the steeple. When the scene immediately shifts to show the three men in close up, the bell is now below shoulder level.
