Marv is electrocuted when he goes to use the sink, which is connected to an arc welder and comes out practically unscathed. In reality he would have been killed due to the extremely high voltage he was exposed to and would he have sustained severe burns on his body due to the fact he had paint on his clothes, which would have caught fire as a result of the sparks.
