When the Germans find Toulon's theater, after searching it Major Kraus orders it to be burned. A German soldier sprinkles gasoline and sets the stage ablaze. At the end of the film, Toulon takes shelter in the theater and there is very little fire damage in the place. The stage and theater are slightly askew but are still intact and not destroyed like they should have been.
