(at around 1h 28 mins) When Jack escapes from the brig on the Black Pearl and stands on the side of the ship, the rope netting is on his left. Then when there is a close-up of him taking the rope from the swinging pirate, the rope netting is on his right-hand side, then switches back. This is because the geography of the boat did not quite work out and so the close-up shot was reversed later in editing.
