When Chrissy gets off the school bus at the gas station, the logging truck coming from the other direction toward the bus does not stop, as it would be required to by law whenever a school bus is dropping off passengers. This "error" could have been put in the film on purpose, since we see a similar (identical?) logging truck involved in the final accident at the end of the film.
