The Bell 430 helicopter used for the theft of the diamonds could not have lifted the diamond vault. The Bell 430 has a maximum lift capacity of around 4,000 pounds, in the movie they stated that the floor thickness was 12 inches of reinforced concrete. The display vault looked to have a diameter of 12 feet, give or take a foot, reinforced concrete being 150 lb per cubic foot makes the bottom slab itself 5,652 pounds, well over the lifting capabilities of the Bell 430. Not to mention the vault casing, which was 2 inch thick concussion proof glass and the additional 12 foot diameter upper deck.
