The morning after Melissa came to Doug's house and drugged him his shower was running before he had woke up for the day. His mother came in and asked about it running. He jumped up and ran in the bathroom before she did in case Melissa was in there. The water was hot and steaming even though it had been running possibly for hours. No way it would have been steamy because she left long ago.
