Justifying their refusal to give Beria a trial, Khrushchev says Tukhachevsky never got a trial. In fact, Field Marshal Mikhail Tukhachevsky did get a trial, in 1937. This was before Beria's time with the NKVD, so it wasn't particularly relevant either. The implication is that what happened to Beria in the movie was the norm under Stalin and Beria is false.
