When Simon is recuperating in Dr. Bessner's cabin, Louise Bourget enters and Poirot questions her partly in French and partly in English. At one point Poirot says something that alarms Louise and she responds in French with "Ah non!" to which Poirot responds with the contradiction "Ah oui!" No native French speaker would say that. He would say "Ah si!" because in French "yes" in a contradiction is always expressed with "si" instead of "oui." Ustinov was an excellent speaker of several languages, including French, so it's surprising that he did not correct the script writer on that subject.
