In the Volkswagen scene, Roger is already in the driver's seat. Peter jumps into the passenger seat, & then the shot switches to Stephen jumping into the hatch. The shot switches back to Peter who asks Roger, "All right?" but in that shot, Stephen is no longer in the hatch. He reappears in the next shot as the car moves away.
