When the President addresses a joint session of Congress, there are microphones from the four American radio networks of that time - ABC, CBS, NBC and Mutual. On the side of the Mutual microphone are the call letters KHJ, which was the Mutual station in Los Angeles. WOL was the Mutual affiliate in Washington, D.C.
