When Bartholomew Bogue returns from Sacramento, he brings an army of 70, with distinct boundaries to the lateral column of men, at least in the wide shots. In the ensuing battle, at least 70 men are shot or blown off their horses before Bogue requests "the wagon", and many more appear to die later on. Reinforcements could be bought in from off-screen, but there is no sign of where they all came from.
