When Jones searches the half exposed laboratory on Ice Station Zebra for the first time, it is quite dark in there and snowflakes whirl around. Jones uses a flashlight. Some time later, with the storm still going on, he is back in the laboratory and joined by Cdr. Ferraday. Yet the lighting conditions have increased drastically and Jones' flashlight is lying on a stove. Moreover, no more snowflakes are whirling in the air. And lastly, in the second scene a frozen briefcase is leaning on the equipment in the left corner of the laboratory, which isn't there in the first scene.
