(at around 13 mins) The Desrt Eagle .50AE fires a round potent enough to pierce multiple cinder blocks from as far as 50-100 yards away. When Deadpool shoots the three gunmen lined up facing him, the round would have had no problems piercing the final man's skull as easily as it did the first one. Even if it had simply lodged in the man's skull as shown in the film, it would have caused a skull fracture that would have been fatal to that individual, without the round penetrating his brain.
