The shots at Marianne's window do not match very well from outside to inside, or even from shot to shot. Near the beginning, when seen from the inside, the wide shot (including Jane and Marianne) shows Stymie in the middle, Wally to his right, and Tommy behind the rest. A cut to a closeup of the boys suddenly has Tommy front and center, Wally to his right, and Stymie behind. Another cut, a view from the yard looking into the window just before the boys leave to look for another doll for Marianne, Wally is now in the middle, Stymie to his right, and Tommy behind the others. At the end of the short there are similar mismatches between shots. From the outside, Wally, Tommy and Petey are the only ones at the window, while from the inside there are three boys plus Petey.
