The gravity on Mars is 0.38 of Earth's gravity, but in all Mars scenes, people are moving about as if they were in an Earth-gravity environment. Within buildings, this could simply be the result of artificial gravity created by future technology, but as Cohaagen, Quaid, and Melina are ejected onto the surface of Mars, it is clear that they fall and land as they would on Earth.
