When Axel gets shot in the right arm by Victor Maitland he is holding his gun in the right hand. He falls through the kitchen door. Next time we see Axel he is landing on the kitchen floor next to his gun which is somehow already there though we never saw Axel dropping the gun or heard it hit the floor.
