When Lucy returns to her friend's apartment to use her MacBook, Lucy is shown accessing hundreds of websites per second to consume information leading her to Professor Norman. Although the speed at which she's able to read and comprehend the pages seems reasonable given her intelligence boost, the MacBook itself would not have the processing power needed to continually access and navigate so many sites in such a short period. The laptop would freeze or slow considerably given the strain.
