Getting a judge to sign off on a search warrant for the woodshed based only on a single anonymous tip would be highly unlikely. It would take much more evidence than anonymously reported "suspicious activity" also. Although, it would be a very simple matter to obtain a search warrant in this case. An anonymous tip is enough to search a woodshed (detached outbuilding) at the suspect's relative's home in close proximity to the crime scene. The ownership, location and size of the shed (large enough to conceal a person/body) as it relates to this high-profile abduction/murder case, would likely be supported by most, if not all judges. Time is of the essence, as they do not know at that time if Amy is alive or dead, and the judge will certainly take this into consideration. It would be allowed in almost every instance.
