(at around 25 mins) When Harry Potter is approaching Ollivander's shop for buying his magic wand in the Diagon Alley, in an upper sign above the shop can be read "Makers of Fine Wands", and in a lower sign can be read "Since 382 B.C." Since the Gregorian calendar was established in the 16th century, it's impossible that the shop could be dated accurately centuries before Christ when He wasn't born. However, given the longevity and long history of the wizarding world, they could have kept track of how long the business was open (doing business for 10 years, 20 years, etc) until the B.C./A.D. system came into effect, then adjusted their claim accordingly. A "Open Since" sign is never posted until the number is significant anyway, and there's nothing that says the sign wasn't added at a later date.
