Harry and Hermione get hit in the abdomen/pelvis multiple times by the huge, fast branches of the Whomping Willow, with enough force to throw them in the air, and they just get up and carry on. However, it is hinted in Animali fantastici e dove trovarli that wizards and Muggles have different physiologies, which may make wizards more physically resilient.
