When Kong approaches the elevated subway track, you see a train go roaring past. Kong then busts up the track, and you see that the track right past where Kong busts through leads to a sharp 90-degree turn. There is no way that the previous train could have possibly made that turn traveling at the speed it was. The train would have to virtually crawl through such a sharp turn.
