When Cora is hanging curtains, her mouth movements do not match the words she is speaking. She audibly speaks the word "France", by her mouth movements it can be seen that she originally said "Africa". Perhaps by the time of the film's release, "France" was a more likely scenario for the event she is describing, given real-life changes in the war that occurred since the film was produced several months earlier.
