After losing the T-1000 in the escape from the mental hospital. John throws the small piece of the T-1000 off the police car, it comes to rest near the central yellow line and cat's eye in the middle of the road. When the T-1000 walks up to the piece to reabsorb it, it's in a different place as the yellow line and cat's eye cannot be seen.
