During the initial "block war" scene, Dredd has his Lawgiver shift to "double whammy" mode in order to shoot two gang members at once. When he subsequently executes the last of the gang members for killing a street judge, his gun fires off only one round, despite Dredd never having ordered his gun to go back to normal firing mode. However, the firearm may automatically revert to the normal firing mode after firing in an alternate mode.
