Contrary to what was shown in the film, in real life, Henry didn't rape Anne which resulted in Elizabeth's conception. In fact, he wasn't angry at Anne for any reason during this time where he annulled his marriage to Catherine of Aragon. He was loving and doting upon her. In the film, Henry raping Anne was most likely meant to show how controlling and tyrannical he truly was, and it also showed that his relationship with Anne was dysfunctional.
