At the beginning of the film rotating glass spinners that clear water rapidly from the bridge windows are shown. These were not invented until about 1930. The scene was filmed on the bridge of the RMS Queen Mary, which was launched in 1934 and entered service in 1936. Scenes filmed there also show a brass helm wheel (the Titanic's was wood) and wedge-shaped engine telegraphs (the Titanic's were round).
