Hunt is swimming at a pool where there is at least one lifeguard who can be seen on duty; pool surveillance is the primary responsibility of lifeguards and they would have noticed Hunt at the bottom of the pool. When he did not come up, the lifeguard would have tried to save him; he would not have had his guts sucked out if the lifeguard was paying attention.
