When Orcs attack the fellowship in the Chamber of Mazarbul (the crypt in Moria), Frodo's sword glows blue, but Gandalf's does not. Gandalf carries Glamdring, the Foe-Hammer, which was forged by Turgon the elf and therefore should glow as Sting does.
