A large number of passengers on the Beacon-bound train disembark at 125th Street. All northbound Metro-North Hudson line trains going that distance to Beacon would not allow anyone getting off that train as 125th Street is a stop only to receive passengers. Also, the majority of these customers would use the nearby NYC subway between Grand Central and 125th Street.
