Just after Thomas rescues Brenda from falling through a large glass window, they emerge onto a fire escape. Although everything seems tilted over thanks to the camera angle and the actors leaning on the railing, from how the pair move as they turn to the stairs it's clear that the 'ruined' skyscraper is actually standing upright.
