When Damian awakens in his new body, his British accent has mysteriously disappeared with no explanation. Yes, there are some traces left of the body's former American owner Mark, but it's clearly Damian's mind controlling the body, and accents are not genetic. If this was indeed due to Mark's mind remaining in the body, Damian should have immediately noticed something was wrong.However, Damian wasn't British. Setting aside that there's no such thing as a "British" accent, Sir Ben Kingsley does make an effort in the early part of the film to conceal his natural English accent.
