If Harry can't control the Basilisk, even as a Parselmouth, because the genetics-based Parseltongue that Tom Riddle speaks is superior, or whatever, then how is Ginny able to do so? As she normally doesn't even speak Parseltongue, hers should be just as inefficient as Harry's, as neither of them is related to Slytherin. Riddle possesses Ginny to make her do his bidding, which would make it possible for her to speak Parseltongue.
