When the 20th Maine is forming for an assault on Marye's Heights, an officer that stands to the left of Colonel Ames and Lieutenant Colonel Chamberlain appears with a different group of men, many of which fall to a shell. During this scene, neither Colonel Ames nor Lieutenant Colonel Chamberlain are present.
