(at around 2h 10 mins) When Elizabeth kisses Jack Sparrow and handcuffs him to the ship at the end of the film, we hear the distinct ratchet sound of modern handcuffs being closed. In the following close up shot of the cuffs, we see that they are consistent with irons of that era and could only have been put on with a hammer and anvil.
