In the Metro Station, Leyden sneaks through the turnstile without inserting a coin however he does this in front of a Metro Station officer who is positioned at the turnstile. In such a scenario the officer would have stopped Leyden to make him pay or arrest him but he just stood there passively watching Leyden sneak in. The film never explains or establishes how Leyden was able to get away with it.
