When Macedonian and Persian cavalry ride in parallel during the battle of Gaugamela, Alexander orders his horsemen to turn left and his infantry to go forward. This is what they are seen doing in the medium shot. But then the camera cuts to an aerial shot in which the horsemen are seen riding straight in their original direction while the infantrymen turn left to emerge from between the horses and run towards Persians.
