In the season three finale "Castle: Knockout", Beckett is shot at Captain Montgomery's funeral. In certain scenes of at least three subsequent episodes (season four's "Castle: The Limey", season five's "Castle: Cloudy with a Chance of Murder", and season eight's "Castle: XX"), the bullet scar on her chest is missing.
