Western Pacific, and especially the Pacific Fruit Express refrigerator cars, did not go as far east as Columbus. The occasional WP car could have been traded to another railroad, but whole trains full of these would have been rare east of Denver or Chicago at the very furthest. The PFE refrigerator cars were generally only used around California, Oregon, Nevada and Arizona.
