The parking stripes on the small Indiana town are for angled parking, yet in every scene of the street the cars are shown parked in parallel. But this is the reason when Hank is driving through his hometown that, he mutters that things never change: All of the vehicles are parked parallel to the street, rather than appropriately parked in their spaces.
