The Hubble Space Telescope cannot have its orbit adjusted on a moment's notice. It would take anywhere from a few days to as much as two weeks in order to rewrite its software to re-position the telescope. Furthermore, the information and photographs gathered from Hubble take time to process and aren't available instantaneously.
