When the aircraft hits the high tension wires just prior to landing, the impact shears the left landing gear assembly off. When the gear comes off, it goes straight back, and when it does,you can see there is no opening in the wing where a wheel well should be. Also, the gear door that was shown attached to the landing gear when the gear came down, is now nowhere to be seen.
